The accessory system includes a solid wood cutting board, two knife-storage options, flatware storage, large utensil storage, spice storage, as well as a reconfigurable divider system made from Paperstone and solid surface acrylic – held together magnetically.
The home has an imposing front facade defined by deep overhangs. Stone, wood siding and large steel-frame windows combine for an appealing exterior. A large back patio with a fire pit offers opportunities for spending time outdoors.
This year there will be a shift toward warmer metal tones such as brass and copper, edging away from the brash, stainless steel and chrome colder metals. Iron and similar tones are making a come back, very much learning towards the timeless traditional.
Some will argue that the concept pays tribute to minimalism, in a time when most home owners also want to add that touch of warmth. And how can you do that with a bare wall? But just think about how this type of kitchen can enhance the sculptural significance of all the other objects in the living room and how it will direct focus on that beautiful view!
